You check in with the airline: online where it offers it, or at its desk at the airport.
When to be at the airport
Your trip page shows “At the airport by” a time: two hours before take-off for a flight inside Egypt, and three hours before a flight abroad.
That’s EgyptAir’s own advice. Other airlines can set different check-in times, so check your airline’s rules too.
Before you go
- Check in online if your airline offers it.
- Have your passport ready for a flight abroad, or your National ID or passport for a flight inside Egypt.
- Your seat is given at check-in. Boarding time and gate show as “TBA” in the app, and the website doesn’t show them, so check your boarding pass and the airport screens.
Flight times are local: the departure time is the time at the airport you leave from, and the arrival time is the time where you land.
