You choose which updates we send and how, in Profile → Notifications.
What you can turn on or off
- Bus trips: Ticket ready, Boarding reminders (about 30 minutes before departure), and Delays and changes (if your trip time or bus changes).
- Flights: Booking updates (your flight is booked and your e-ticket issued, or the airline’s new time once our team records it) and Flight reminders (24 hours and 4 hours before take-off).
- Private rides: Request updates (when we send a quote or confirm your ride) and Ride reminders (the evening before your ride).
- Rewards: Invite rewards (when a friend’s first paid trip earns you both points).
- Offers: Deals and discounts, and Round trip deals. These stay off unless you turn them on.
An update reaches you only on the channels you leave on: Push (notifications on your phone), Email, or both.
On the website, the Notifications page in your account has the same choices, plus one for each kind of optional email: trip reminders, time changes, rate your trip, and points and invites. An email’s unsubscribe link turns that kind off; you can turn it back on there.
Always sent
Some messages are part of your booking or your account, so these choices don’t stop them: tickets, e-tickets and receipts by email, cancellations and refunds, sign-in codes and password emails, Passenger ID decisions, and important service announcements. Their notifications still follow the Push switch.
